We call our female GSD the Harricane...I look forward to July when she sheds the least.Its lucky for her that she is smart, beautiful and generally adorable...get a dyson sweeper...maybe we can get that Dyson guy to feature a GSD in his advertising.

German Shepherds Shed - a lot. Thats the gist of it. They're a double coated breed and you can expect frequent shedding and from time to time you can expect them to blow coat - especially the girls - thats just the way it is.

They shed a lot, you will want to brush him/her from once a day to once every 2-3 days depending on how much yours sheds. If your GSD lives in the house you will want to vacuum daily
