Wanting information in obtaining a hearing dog for myself. I am a 51 year severely hard of hearing. Is there an organization that would help me. Total German Shepherd: There are several - try googling "hearing dog" and you'll find loads of places to start such as www.ihdi.org, www.hearingdogprogram.org, and www.dogsforthedeaf.org to start.
