Useful tip to stop a German Shepherd puppy from biting by: SAM
Oh have we been there....
Try putting your finger down into your dog's throat when she tries to bite you. When taking this action say "no bite". Your dog should quickly learn that it is unpleasant experience when she tries to bite you.
I have tried other methods, but nothing worked until this tip was passed along to me. It was also suggested that I use my whole hand, but it never got to that point.
My german shepherd is now 5 months old and we have had no issues with biting now for over a month. Thank-god!
Biting phase was immediately followed by digging and eating dirt. Just a heads up of what you might be dealing with next.
