I take a class from Mika's mom. She is a lot bigger than I am but she lets me smell her and play with her and she doesn't get mad.

No metter what I'm going to say about Mika will be not good enough to describe this creature.She is treasure!Priceless gift of Lord! I wish to have just small amount of her nuclear energy. Mika is absolutly gorgeous, smartest dog ever, period!

I take class from Mika's mom. I live at a rescue and was not treated so well in the past. Because of my background I don't always like other dogs getting too close. Mika is always respectful of my space and doesn't try to make me uncomfortable. I enjoy class very much with Mika & her mom :)

Mika is so sweet and she is so lucky to have Catherine, a great Mom who loves her and has what it takes, (the knowledge and patience) to train her properly.
She is doing fantastic and I am hoping that my new dog, Billie is going to be as wonderful and well trained as Mika! And I know that is all up to me to make that happen!

Mika is my twin sister. We are also best friends. Our mommies are sisters too! We go walking together every morning, then when my mommy goes to work, I stay with Mika and play all day.
She is smart and fun (a little bossy at times), but we love each other and can't wait to play ball! Her mommy is the best dog trainer and Mika knows all her commands and then some. I know mine too, but I would rather watch her sit, heel, stay, come, etc... Better her than me!

I have recently become Mika's "other" boyfriend....aside from her brother Vargie that is. Mika's mom has taught my mom so much and helped her communicate with me. Phew! She finally knows what I am trying to say. We hike together and play.
Mika is my favorite friend....she is so gentle and playful and really listens to her mom.

Not only Mica is a well behaved dog, but also the sweetest one . She loves to play, but when it's time to work she drops everything and listen to orders.
More people should consider adopting a German Shepherd, they will have a grateful friend for life. Alix

Mika is so beautiful and so lucky to have found such a wonderful home. Her beautiful mother, Ally, lives on my street and they look so much alike. Two years ago I went with Ally's adopted mom and dad to rescue Ally and all her many puppies - who knew Mika would become such a talented young lady who can also understand three languages? That's better than most Americans!!
Mika is a testament to what Westside German Shepherd Rescue can do - they rescue helpless, lost, injured and abandoned dogs and find them wonderful owners and homes such as yours. In fact, more than 4000 dogs have been rescued and placed by WGSR since 2004 - I should know because I update their data base. Keep the pictured coming and I hope Mika and your family have a wonderful new year...hiking, swimming and learning a fourth language!!
