My German Shepherds, Lexi and Drago love to play

These are my German Shepherds, Lexi – 9 years old and Drago – 4 years old. Lexi and Drago love to play.

Lexi is pleading with Drago to play with her. Even though Drago is much younger and bigger than her, she can still take him down when playing.

They are wonderful dogs and fun to watch. They are loving and loyal.

Hi Vicki, Thank you so much for sharing your great story about your two German Shepherds Lexi and Drago. What a wonderful little story and a really good picture too.

That picture of Lexi and Drago playing above really reminds me so much of a pair of German Shepherds I had a few years back, a brother and sister, named Coda and Cayman. Coda easily had 30 pounds on Cayman and several inches in height too but she was so much more agile and fast than him that she could flip him in a heartbeat whenever she got in a mischevious playing mood.

I do miss the two of them very much - thanks for reminding me of that memory. I can still see Coda rolling across the yard after Cayman stalked and flipped him over - kind of like a cheetah tripping up it's prey, only in this case it was a large, clumsy male German Shepherd who never stood a chance against little sister.
