My GSD Puppy Kota has the sweetest disposition

by Olivia Thomas

Hey!

My little girl is 4 months old. Her name is Kota and I rescued her at about 6 or 7 weeks of age. She wouldn't have made it if I didnt.

I nursed her back to health and she is now a very healthy growing girl! She has been so wonderful and well mannered...to my surprise. I never thought puppy raising would be this easy!

She has the sweetest disposition and boy does she love her momma! Unfortunately she doesn't have that long GSD tail, she has a crooked medium-lengthed tail. It was a birth defect that happened in the womb, but that doesn't stop me from loving her to death.

This is my first GSD, so I am extremely excited to see her grow. Kota has been such a wonderful addition to my life and I hope you enjoy her pictures as much as I do!

Best wishes,

Olivia Thomas

Total German Shepherd:

Hey there, Olivia. I just love those pictures of Kota - she is soooo cute! Thanks so much for taking the time to come here and share your German Shepherd pups story and pictures with us all today.

And Kota seems to be a very popular dog name these days. We probably have 10 or better on this site alone - Kotas, Coda and Kodas. interesting how names are so cyclical. And I’m so glad that she is healthy now too. Good for you both!

And what a great picture of Kota too. She looks so comfortable and happy in the photos that you have submitted - just like she has just conquered that big old romp in the park and is waiting for her new challenge - a trip to her favorite fast food place. Beautiful.

I loved your story! About 3 weeks ago, I found 3 abandoned GS puppies that were no older than 3 weeks. I found homes for 2 and kept one myself! I already have a GS/Pitbull mix, but didn't get to experience his puppy years. So I, too am excited to watch my Valentine grow! Best of luck to you and Kota!
