Losing My Best Friend, My German Shepherd Holly. R.I.P xxx
by Charlotte Cook
(Keighley)
Holly was born on april 27th 2003. she was my dream dog and was more than my best friend, she would lay her head on me and lay with me when i cried and she always cheered me up. Holly was smart and was able to understand many words and was a pleasure to take on walks. she didnt really get along with other dogs but loved children and always played gentle around babies and toddlers.
she lived a happy life and had plenty of holidays. she was put down today at 9:20 am. we carried her to the car and the vet put her to sleep in the back of our car. she fell asleep and died whilst i was cuddling her. i was in shock when she stopped breathing, i was in denial and kept kissing and cuddling her trying to wake her up even though deep down i knew she was gone.
You were my life and it feels empty without you. il miss you so much everyday and i have been lucky to have you Holly. R.I.P i love you so much xxxxxxxxxxxx

The loss of a beloved pet is a hard loss to bear but I do hope you do not grieve too long and are soon able to think of your sweet Holly with a smile on your face even though you may have tears in your eyes!
