Question about laid back, black German Shepherd

i have a solid black gsd i have only had him for 3 days he seems whinny not cheerful not bouncing around like he should

this is first gsd i have had just wanting to know if this was normal or not thanks....ben r

If you only had him for 3 days, he needs adjustment time. Give him lots of love and attention, time and patience. It may take awhile, but if it seems like he may be physically hurting, you might want to take him in to see the vet, he could have something physically wrong. I would do that just to rule out any possible physical problem!
